Based on Mies Van Der Rohe’s Barcelona Chair, Serralunga offers this nice, outdoor (yeah, substitute the leather for plastic!), stackable version designed by Raffaella Mangiarotti. Sure, it’s not the prettiest chair in the world (unlike the original, which I actually think might be), but it’s a very cool idea. Perhaps we’ll see an outdoor friendly version of an Eame’s Chair…? I’m just sayin’.
As I’ve been sporting my Orvis military-style watch lately, I was drawn to this very nice example from M.H. Bertucci. The A-2T sports a brilliantly polished solid titanium case, band lugs, scratch-resistant mineral glass crystal and screw-down crown and case back, which all together offer impressive durability. Available for $140
Lindsay Lohan graces the cover of the August/September issue of Complex with supporting artwork provided by KAWS. Via Complex:
Lindsay Lohan has had a crazy couple of years months, and we found ourselves at the center of her personal drama after our August/September cover shoot ended up in the tabloids back in May. Fast forward a couple of manic months, and her legal woes are coming to a head (LL reports to prison tomorrow), so we consider ourselves lucky to be able to present this super-sexy photoshoot just to remind everyone of just how bad (meaning good!) Lindsay is. [...] Unfortunately, Lindsay got caught up in the madness—Cannes, court, and conviction—before we had a chance to interview her, so we instead used the cover story to ask the question everyone’s forgetting: what’s it like to be LiLo right now?”

Today, July 9th, the new “Predators” movie will be released. To celebrate that release, Hamilton introduces this “Predator Black” colorway of their Below Zero watch. I’m very much looking forward to this movie (produced by Robert Rodriguez). Let’s hope it lives up to the hype and to Rodriguez’s reputation.
Street Fighter + Nike SB?? I’m in! Here is just a preview of the “Ryu” Dunk Mid and the “Chun Li” Dunk Low, part of Nike SB’s upcoming Street Fighter-inspired pack. While the “Ryu” take on a mostly off-white base with hints of black and red accenting (much like Ryu’s standard gi colorway), the “Chun Li” sports a mostly blue base with hints of gold and white accenting. A Dunk Hi is sure to be released as well. Stay tuned for more info regarding this sure-to-be-sick pack.
WHOA! I’m a very big fan of Dyson products. Their line of fans has become an interesting piece of household design since its original release. The blade-less design originally launched with a smaller version ($299.99 for the 10″ and $329.99 for the 12″) and now, Dyson offers two new larger-scale releases. The Tower version (pictured in the middle. priced at $449.99) measures in at 36.5 inches while the Pedestal (right. also $449.99) can be adjusted from 46.77 inches to 55.43 inches in height. Click here to see how they work. Available now through Dyson.
